Carta Healthcare is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sales and Marketing Director for our growing company. This role offers a significant opportunity for a results-driven professional to grow in their career and have a direct impact on the growth, culture, and internal processes of the company.
Position Overview
Reporting to the CEO, the Sales and Marketing Director will develop, direct, support, and take responsibility for the sales and marketing activities of the business to achieve sales revenues and profit targets.
This Sales and Marketing Director will harness established relationships with key accounts in addition to developing new relationships. This position primarily focuses on communicating with those key accounts and our internal team to develop new product features, improve brand communications, and increase consumer awareness of the Carta Healthcare brand. The Sales and Marketing Director will also develop sales, marketing, and PR strategies, processes, and tools for the North American market. A successful candidate will ensure thoughtful planning of the company’s sales and marketing tactics.
The primary goal of the Sales and Marketing Director will be to achieve B2B sales growth at Carta Healthcare, ensuring all KPIs are trend positively.
Role and Responsibilities
The Sales and Marketing Director role requires a passion for technology and its capacity to have a positive social impact. You will be responsible for:
Developing the company’s long-term marketing strategy, achieving B2B sales growth, market penetration, and cost-effective customer acquisition
Developing and implementing a winning lead generation strategy, which includes:
Performing outreach to channel partner members to quantify interest and qualify leads
Managing the sales funnel via strategic channel partnerships
Implementing sales automation
Owning the business’ reputation and recognition, including brand, PR, and communications
Working closely with the Sales Team, enabling them to meet their objectives
Working closely with Product Team and defining marketing strategies for new and existing products
Managing the sales, marketing, customer service, and product communication/feedback loops
Planning continuous market reviews and feedback sessions to ensure customer engagement
Monitoring consumer trends competitor activities to inform our work
Monitoring customer service activity, invoicing, payments, and administration costs
Working closely with internal cross-functional teams to build a sales- and customer-centric culture
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
A track record of successfully scaling Sales and Marketing teams, showing progressive responsibility
Experience working with high-growth B2B SaaS Healthcare sales (customer-facing end-to-end sales)
Regional sales and team leadership experience
Experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving lead-generation, sales and marketing plans
Experience implementing, maintaining, and improving sales and marketing software processes
Preferably HubSpot

About Carta Healthcare
Through our software solutions, Carta Healthcare is committed to transforming hospital efficiency by making data more useful in the quest to better understand the patient journey and improve patient care. Initially, this position will be focused on selling Cartographer and Atlas to hospitals and health systems.
Cartographer enables hospitals to use data from any source system – the Electronic Health Record, Cath Management System, Pharmacy System, etc. to fully understand a patient’s journey through the hospital. Cartographer is Carta’s core data platform, which uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to read and organize clinical notes and extract additional data.
Atlas is the AI tool used to enhance the data abstraction process, improve data quality, provide cost efficiencies and cure “Registry Fatigue.” Atlas’ data abstraction takes a fraction of time compared to unassisted abstraction processes by automatically populating registry data fields via data from the EHR using structured and unstructured fields such as clinical notes.
