QA engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.). Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities you’ll be taking charge of:

• Test new and existing features
• Validate tickets and update their status
• Create test cases to automate Sanity/smoke testing
• Execute test scripts and review results
• Identify bugs and glitches
• Suggest features/attributes/behavior
• Report and document bugs on JIRA
• Be part of our engineering team
• Capture logs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

 Required Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills
• Team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
• Familiar with issue tracking tool JIRA
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS
• Can put themselves in the shoes of the user
• Familiar with chrome developer tools
• Experience with testing frameworks preferably Cypress
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work in Async mode (remotely)
• MS Excel or google sheet skills
• Familiar with Linux

Educational Background:

      BSc./B.Tech in CSE/IT is preferred

Experience Required:

      2 years or more experience as a QA Engineer

Preferred:

• Healthcare IT experience
